From the litter box to LitterLocker®
It's quick, clean, easy and…ODORLESS

Since its creation in 1997 Angelcare Monitors Inc., a Canadian company based in Montreal, has been a dynamic company which specializes in designing, developing and manufacturing innovative consumer products. It has committed itself to being on the cutting edge with the Movement & Sound Monitor which improves baby safety, the Sound Monitor for pet breeders and now the LitterLocker®, the only soiled litter disposal system.

Maurice Pinsonnault, the president and founder, is a lifelong inventor and developer of new products. He has the vision to see a need in the marketplace and turn it into an innovative, unique, quality product. Maurice Pinsonnault truly has the Midas touch. He brings new ideas, people and resources together to create successful products. He has already achieved this in the juvenile, sporting goods and recreational industries. The Movement & Sound Monitor concept came to be when Maurice Pinsonnault became a father, overwhelmed with the anxiety that all new parents face. After months of research and extensive development, the Movement & Sound Monitor became available and affordable to all parents. This alleviated parental fears, which no other product was able to do. Within a short time, it became the world's #1 selling movement & sound monitor, selling in over 40 countries worldwide. Within the first six months, the Angelcare monitor won the top prize at two major international showcases for new products, the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association show and the 27th International Fair of Inventions. A Canadian invention had never won the top prize at Geneva's International Exhibition of Inventions. Angelcare Monitors Inc. graced the cover of the Canadian edition of Time Magazine, December 4, 2000 for Innovative Product of the Year.In late 2001 Angelcare Monitors Inc. began getting requests from pet breeders for the Movement & Sound Monitor to use next to the whelping pen. Breeders wanted a way to monitor their pets when they weren't in the room with them, be alerted to the sounds of their pet going into labor and the sounds of newly born pets. Angelcare added labels to the packaging informing breeders about the product and started selling the Movement & Sound Monitor in pet specialty stores and pet supply stores. The creation of LitterLocker® has similar origins. While working on a new diaper pail, Maurice's wife suggested he consider making a pail for soiled litter. She explained how they cleaned the litter box of their daughter's cat. He understood how pet owners clean the litter box by searching for a plastic bag, scooping soiled litter into the plastic bag & bringing the bag with waste to a trash can either in the garage or outside. It made no sense to him to waste such time on a daily chore. He knew there had to be a better, cleaner and easier way for litter maintenance. And he found it!LitterLocker® - the only soiled litter disposal system that eases litter maintenance. It provides consumers with a hygienic and easy alternative to running around and to never having to touch the plastic waste bag again. It makes daily scooping easy and fun enough for kids and husbands to do so without being told. Just scoop up the soiled litter, drop it in the LitterLocker® and turn the handle to trap odors away. A scooper is included and kept in a built-in scooper compartment. This compartment is removable and easy to clean. The trendy design of the LitterLocker® provides a great disguise for a soiled litter disposal system. It's compact and blends in easily into the kitty corner. Focus groups have even confirmed an interest in this product for people camping or traveling around in recreational vehicles.

The LitterLocker® is completely odorless thanks to its 3-layer barrier film. Soiled litter can be stored in the LitterLocker® for up to 2 weeks, but can be emptied at any time that's convenient for the pet owner. The refill, which holds the barrier film, lasts 2 months on average. Afterwards, pet owners are then able to purchase additional refills.
